Guillaume Hamel graduated from the University of Montreal in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. He is a registered member of the Professional Order of Physiotherapy of Quebec, and of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Guillaume obtained a certificate in Sport Physiotherapy Canada in 2007. Since graduation, Guillaume has demonstrated strong interest in the field of sports medicine. He has participated as a member of medical teams in international, national and provincial athletic events. Acting as the head therapist for the Montreal Impact from 2005 to 2008, he travelled around the world with the team to: Italy, Portugal, Honduras, Mexico, etc. He was part of the medical team during the team's first performance in the CONCACAF tournament. Guillaume was also on the medical team for the University of Montreal Men's Soccer Team for three years during his studies. He now spends his energy and time working with sports associations from the West Island community of Montreal. He is in charge of multiple associations, including the cheerleading club "Flyers All-Starz", a team with whom he’s travelled with to Orlando since 2011. In 2007, he became Vice-President of Operations at Action Sport Physio, where he was named employee of the year two years in a row by his coworkers in 2010 and 2011, until his departure in 2012. In October 2012, he co-founded Physiomentum Sports Medicine Center Inc. and has begun his own practice. He’s already established contracts with numerous sports associations, including the prominent Canadian Soccer Association. Guillaume continues to develop his knowledge in various areas of Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine. To remain current with new techniques, he continues to take courses in Manual Therapy, Sports First Responder, McKenzie, Mulligan, Sport Massage, Neural Mobility, and Taping. He is certified in peripheal and vertebral manipulations and dry needling. He enjoys sharing his knowledge with clients and other physiotherapists through his conference appearances. Given his vast experience, he’s often in charge of physiotherapy interns from various universities.

Thomas Lucas is a Physiotherapist and member of the “Ordre Professionnel de la Physiotherapie du Québec”. He graduated from McGill University in 2011 with a Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy. Since, Tom has found his niche in the private sector, and has instinctively begun to establish his specialty in themanagement and rehabilitation of sports injuries. Tom has spent his life in and around sports, most notably soccer where he won two National Championships as team captain for the Lac-St-Louis Lakers. More recently, he competed with the McGill Redmen during his 5 years at McGill, 4 of those as team captain. During his soccer career, he also competed with the “Centre National de Haut Performance” (CNHP) and provincial teams. Tom also has a love for the game of Basketball, and competed as an under-age player for the U-17 provincial team before calling it quits to pursue soccer more intensely. He uses his experiences as an elite athlete to better help his injured athletes return to play in the best possible state. As a young, motivated and open-minded professional, Tom is always looking to improve his professional capacities. He is currently pursuing his Manipulative Therapy levels, and obtained his Dimploma in Sports Physiotherapy in 2016. As an evidence-based practitioner, he hopes to one day contribute significant research to the profession of Physiotherapy. Today he is owner and vice-president of his own company: Physiomentum Sports Medicine Centre Inc. through which he has participated in the coverage of many sporting events such as the 2013 Francophone Games with the Canadian Soccer Association, as well as the Cheerleading World Championships in Orlando. On a personal level, Tom enjoys travelling to new places with his wife Kyla. In his spare time Tom likes to run, ride his fixed-gear bike, play sports, and walk his dog. Aside from being active Tom is a food fanatic, and loves to cook while he listens to his record collection.

Jeremy Rosenberg completed his master’s degree in Physiotherapy at Mcgill University in 2016. He is a registered member of the Professional Order of Physiotherapy of Quebec (OPPQ). During his time at Mcgill, Jeremy’s passion for sports led him to become a team therapist for the Mcgill Track and Field team and develop his skills with various athletes. Jeremy’s vast sports knowledge helps him understand the biomechanics of a multitude of sports injuries and treat them efficiently. Jeremy treats many different injuries ranging from recent sports injuries to chronic back and neck issues. Since Jeremy’s start at Physiomentum, he has been working with the Flyerz All Starz cheerleading team at competitions all over Canada and the USA. Jeremy is constantly seeking new knowledge, having taking courses in manual therapy, sports first responder and concussion management. He is looking forward to pursuing his manual therapy levels as well as other courses in Mackenzie.

Wendy Yu graduated from McGill University in 2014 with a master’s degree in Physical Therapy and is a member of the Ordre Professionnel de la Physiothérapie du Québec (OPPQ). Wendy has experience with a diverse clientele of all ages and cultures in the fields of orthopaedics, running and concussion rehabilitation. She is certified to treat low back, neck and thoracic injuries using the McKenzie method, and is working towards a McKenzie certification. She is also certified in using the Mulligan technique for injuries to the extremities, with particular emphasis upon the shoulder joint. In conjunction, she incorporates manual therapy, myofascial release and structural myofascial therapy in all her treatments. Wendy is also certified in the prevention and management of acute concussions and post-concussion syndrome. Through a thorough concussion management protocol, she is able to promote a safe return to sports, work and school. Sports-wise, Wendy is specialized in doing running assessments and treating all running-related injuries. She also treats dance injuries, and has been working in collaboration with Sheila Parkins School of Dance to minimize injuries during competition season. Wendy is a firm believer that regular physical activity, a balanced diet and a relaxed state of mind are three main ingredients to healthy living. Through physiotherapy, she can help any individual return to meaningful activities, work or sports. In her spare time, Wendy likes to do high-intensity interval training (HIIT), running, reading and writing. She also likes to attend conferences on musculoskeletal conditions and running to further her knowledge in these areas and thus become a better practitioner. She is passionate about physiotherapy and will make sure you can return to activities that inspire the same passion in you!

Kayla Monaco obtained her Master’s in Physiotherapy at McGill University in 2021, after completing her undergraduate degree at Concordia University in Athletic Therapy becoming a Certified Athletic Therapist. As an athletic therapist, she has acquired a lot of on-field experience dealing with various sports related injuries and following them through to off-field therapy in the clinic. She interned with various sports teams at both the community and University levels, as well as private clinics. As a former athlete herself, she related to many of the situations presented in front of her. During the course of her undergraduate studies and from personal experience, she realized she wanted to acquire more knowledge to better serve the general population and those around her. Through McGill’s Physiotherapy program, she had the opportunity to gain experience with a variety of populations, including those with cardiorespiratory conditions, neurological conditions, and those in post-operative general and orthopaedic surgery. The knowledge she has acquired during her studies at McGill has provided her with a deeper understanding and appreciation for the human body, and for the vastness of the career she has chosen as a physiotherapist. Kayla believes in a whole person collaborative approach and finding balance between your everyday demands and recovery. When she’s not working you will most likely find her baking, keeping active, or hosting a dinner party with friends and family.

Natalia Pierscinski obtained her master’s in physiotherapy from the Université de Montréal in 2023 and is now a member of the Ordre professional de la physiotherapy du Quebec (OPPQ). Prior to completing her masters, she had completed her DEP in physiotherapy technology and worked as a physiotherapy technologist in the public system, providing homecare services in physical therapy. While completing her masters, Natalia discovered the world of Global postural re-education in the treatment of scoliosis and has since completed the GPR scoliosis specific treatment approach. Her multiple internships in various pediatric fields also gave her hands on experience to treat conditions such as torticollis, plagio/brachycephalies and motor developmental delays with the pediatric clientele. She has a keen interest in the musculoskeletal field and takes the opportunity to better her techniques whenever she can. Natalia continues to get involved in the academic field by mentoring students who are completing their masters in physiotherapy, guiding them through the research field and broadening the knowledge in physiotherapy.

Stéphanie Guirguis obtained her Physiotherapy degree from the University of Montreal in 2025 and is a member of the Professional Order of Physiotherapy of Quebec (OPPQ). During her university studies, Stéphanie had the opportunity to complete internships in various specialized settings, including working with pediatric oncology patients, individuals who had suffered a stroke, and a geriatric population. These experiences allowed her to broaden and diversify her therapeutic approaches. In addition, she completed several courses that enabled her to earn multiple certifications, including X-ray prescription and spinal and peripheral manipulations. She works with patients experiencing a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, such as tendinopathies, bursitis, osteoarthritis, and more. Stéphanie recently began an advanced manual therapy course to deepen her knowledge and is looking to pursue further training in sports taping to better support her clients. In her free time, Stéphanie enjoys staying active and taking part in sports activities.

Dr. Burman is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at McGill University and Orthopedic Surgeon at the McGill University Health Center (MUHC) in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He is the Clinical Director of the MUHC Orthopedic Sports Medicine Group and Director of the McGill Orthopedic Sports Medicine & Arthroscopy Fellowship Program. He is a graduate of the McGill University Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program, and received further Subspecialty Fellowship Training in the areas of Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy & Shoulder Surgery at McGill University, University of Oklahoma & University of Toronto. Dr. Burman currently serves as Team Physician and Head Orthopedic Surgeon for the Montreal Impact FC, as well Team Physician and Orthopedic Surgeon for the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League, and McGill University Athletics.

Dr. Ostiguy is a family physician specializing in sports medicine. She earned her medical degree from Laval University, where she also completed her family medicine residency in 2014. She then completed a Fellowship in Sports Medicine at McGill University, where she was involved in the medical staff of professional, varsity and college teams. She obtained her Canadian Academy of Sport and Exercise Medicine (CASEM) diploma in 2015. Among her numerous commitments, she is currently the team doctor of Concordia varsity men's hockey team and a physician at the Institut National du Sport du Québec (INSQ).

She is also a Certified Personal Trainer with NASM, as well as having certifications with RockTape in Cupping and KT Taping. She has experience treating clientele of all ages- from babies to elderly, and from all backgrounds. Passionate about sports, training and physical activity and playing high level soccer since a young age, that is what pushed her to pursue her studies in the health field. She’s very interested in fitness and restoring a quality of life to her clients. She believes in taking care of the person as a whole, in finding the cause of the problem, respecting the self-healing force of the body and believing that movement is medicine.

Julie graduated from UQAM in 2017 with a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. She also obtained her certification as a Massage Therapist in 2017 (Swedish massage) and is certified in deep tissue massage. Julie has been providing Kinesiology and Massage Therapy services with the Physiomentum team since her graduation, but was already part of the team during her studies as a physiotherapist's assistant. She will be able to offer you services that will meet your needs and objectives whether for fitness or muscular relaxation. Julie was a member for the Flyers All-Starz, a Montreal cheerleading team that continues to win national and international titles. She herself has had the chance to be a World Champion in her category in 2013 and 2019, as well as several other world podiums over the years. Now retired, she focuses on her profession.

Kelsey graduated from Concordia University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science from the Exercise science program and specialization in Athletic Therapy. She is also a certified massage therapist in Swedish massage and deep tissue massage. Kelsey is a member of the Canadian Athletic Therapy Association (CATA), La Corporation des Thérapeutes du Sports du Québec (CTSQ) and the Association des Massothérapeutes du Québec (AMQ). Being an Athletic therapist, she is capable of recognizing and treating musculoskeletal injuries using multiple modalities, such as manual therapy techniques, muscle energy techniques, soft tissue manipulation and more. She applies her wide range of skills into her massage treatments to help reduce pain, muscle spasms, reduce scar tissue formation, improve overall muscular health, and more. She values the concept of recovery, whether you are a professional or recreational athlete, or simply someone who needs time out for themselves and well being. Kelsey is also a certified Sports First Responder, and has worked with athletes from a variety of sports, such as football, rugby, hockey, figure skating, gymnastics and soccer. She is trained in sport specific taping/wrapping techniques. Her goal is to get people back to a pain free lifestyle and help athletes perform at their best health and ability. Kelsey was once a competitive gymnast herself at the provincial level for 8 years and once she retired, became a coach at the recreation and competitive level. Outside of work, Kelsey enjoys outdoor activities such as going on hikes, runs, skiing as well as camping.

Tamara has been part of the Physiomentum team since 2017 and has since then grown within the company. Now a CanFit Pro certified Personal Training Specialist, she’s more than motivated and passionate about the world of fitness and training. Her services include in-person or online personal training and at-home or in-gym training programs. Tamara was also a National level singles and pairs Figure Skater and competed at the 2011 Canada Winter Games. Today as a Skate Canada Provincal level coach, she works with many competitive skaters of all levels. On the side, she invests many hours in completing different types of certifications and is always eager to learn new things that will help her develop as a coach.
